I’ve been tangentially looking into this for a while now, and have only found the following two articles.
I will keep looking, but for those of you who are interested, at least you will have access to what I’ve found thus far.
- Homesteading in Japan - This article details how to find land and live affordably in Japan.
- How to homestead in Belize - A similar article which also lists a book title by a couple who are very knowledgeable about homesteading for practically free in the country of Belize.
