This is an easy, easy dumpling mix.
2 cups baking mix and 2/3 of a cup of milk.
Stir together until a soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling / simmering stew. Reduce heat and cook for about 10 minutes or until done.
Usually, I drop my dumplings on to a stew that is nearly done, as they don’t take very long. It occurred to me last night that these might work on stewed rhubarb or berries. Sort of a dough-like desert pot pie . . . haven’t tried it yet, though. If you do, please post the results.
