I used to do this when I had leftovers of a particularly meaty sauce and extra noodles. Basically, all you do is mix them together with a fair amount of shredded mozzarella and Parmesan and place in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. I’ve seen a layered pie version of this using ricotta cheese in the middle and a base layer of plain noodles. The meat sauce is on the top layer and the whole thing is sprinkled with the shredded cheese of your choice. This looks nice as well, but I personally don’t have the time as a rule. You might be able to make it work in your schedule, however. This is a great way to stretch the grocery budget and use up left overs.
