A southern friend of mine made these for a small holiday get together years ago.
They were very delicious, fairly simple to make if you have custard cups, and combine traditional flavors in an unusual way.
1 21 ounce can of apple pie filling, 1 16 ounce can of solid pack pumpkin, 1 14 ounc can of sweetened condensed milk, 2 eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp each of nutmeg and salt, 1 cup of gingersnap crumbs, 2 tbsp melted margarine or butter.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spoon apple pie filling into 8 or 10 greased custard cups. In a large mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Spoon equal portions over pie filling. Combine crumbs and margarine and sprinkle over the tops of the individual desserts. Place cups in baking pan. Bake 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 15 minutes longer or until set. Cool slightly and serve warm.
