Frozen Ginger Root: Another Tip From the Nan-ster

Ginger root isn’t exactly cheap, and if you don’t use it quickly it can dry up and shrivel away. The solution?

Place your ginger roots in freezer bags and store them in the freezer space above your fridge. This makes them easy to grab for quick dinner prep. Another upside, the roots are much easier to grate this way, and still taste and smell very fresh for cooking.
